The concept of Tonic grew from the bond between friends, a love for community, and a passion for wellness alchemy.
We source our ingredients from North Carolina distilleries, breweries, cider mills, wineries, and farmers. We love incorporating house-made syrups, tinctures, preserves, bitters and responsibly foraged and grown ingredients harvested and crafted by folks across the Old North State.

We are lucky to have so many requests for musicians and bands to play at Tonic. Sadly, there are just not enough days in the week or cash on hand to support having live music every night. We believe artists deserve the best and we are grateful to have a space where creativity blossoms and shines! In order to make space for as many as we can, we've come up with a couple of options for performers to check out.
OPEN-MIC MONDAYS (WITH EPIC DRINK SPECIALS)
MONDAYS ONLY: Open mic night starts at 4pm and goes till about 9 or 10. Bring your friends, and meet your comrades and show off what you got! Sign up for your spot with this link:
WILDCARD WEDNESDAYS
CALLING ALL: Bands and Individual Performers who want to snag a spot in our curated music and performing arts schedule. You've probably tried to find us on social media or texted us to book a gig and frankly, we've been inundated with requests. But we want you to be heard and we want to get to know everyone! Sign up for a 2-hour spot for Wildcard Wednesdays. Only 1 band or performer per Wednesday night can sign up, so you will have the place to yourself! . And if you sound as good as we know you are, we will get you on the schedule. Bring your own equipment, your good cheer and all your friends. Our regulars and locals are excited to meet you! It's wild to realize that when you buy a drink from Tonic, or any other restuarant or bar that carries NC made booze, you're supporting a trickle down effect of imperative organizations. Farmers keep farming, agriculture keeps evolving, education in those areas get a huge boost, and so do their economies...not to mention your hard earned money stays in our Old North State. Our deep history of being the black sheep of bootlegging is going strong with innovative ways to keep spirits and medicinal products alive. So thank you for your support.
